DISCIPLINARIDADE E INTERDISCIPLINARIDADE EM CIÊNCIA DA RELIGIÃO: Estudo analítico-comparativo sobre o perfil teórico-metodológico das propostas pedagógicas dos Programas de Pós-graduação em Ciência (s) da (s) Religião (ões) no Brasil (2017-2020)

A noção de disciplina é o ponto central da interdisciplinaridade. Tal afirmação implica que a sistematização do ensino e da pesquisa interdisciplinar passa por essa condição, ou seja, passa pela disciplinaridade. Porém, enquanto a disciplinaridade se assenta na compreensão da fragmentação do conhecimento, o método da interdisciplinaridade compreende o conhecimento como um todo. Partindo desse pressuposto, essa tese tem como objetivo apresentar uma reflexão sobre as noções de disciplina e de interdisciplinaridade no contexto da discussão epistemológica da disciplina Ciência da Religião. Nessa perspectiva, o que se pretende afirmar é que compartimos do pressuposto de que a disciplina Ciência da Religião é uma disciplina autônoma, dedicada à abordagem empírica e sistemática de fatos religiosos concretos, de perfil não normativo e que a interdisciplinaridade, enquanto método reflete em grande medida os constituintes dessa disciplina, pois fornece orientação na coleta de dados empíricos e auxilia no processo de teorização. Além disso, nosso objetivo é evidenciar que não é pela diversidade ou amplitude do espectro disciplinar, característica da Ciência da Religião, que se caracteriza a interdisciplinaridade, mas que é o intercâmbio teóricometodológico entre o que é próprio dessas disciplinas com o que é próprio da disciplina Ciência da Religião. Reconhecemos que dessa forma se constitui o perfil interdisciplinar, em sentido teórico-metodológico, na perspectiva disciplinar. Para isso, nosso estudo se estabelece metodologicamente como um estudo teórico pautado na investigação analítico-comparativa sobre o perfil teórico-metodológico das propostas pedagógicas dos Programas de Pósgraduação em Ciência (s) da (s) Religião (ões) no Brasil (2017-2020) com o intuito de identificar em que medida essas noções são e estão sendo compreendidas pelos Programas.

DISCIPLINARITY AND INTERDISCIPLINARITY IN SCIENCE OF RELIGION: Analytical-comparative study on the theoretical-methodological profile of pedagogical proposals of the Graduate Programs in Science (s) religion in Brazil (2017-2020)

The idea of discipline is the main point of interdisciplinarity. This statement indicates that the systematization of teaching and interdisciplinary research comes through this condition, that means, disciplinarity. However, while disciplinarity is based on the understanding of the fragmentation of knowledge into parts, the interdisciplinarity method comprises knowledge as a whole. From this hypothesis, the aim of this thesis is to present a reflection on the notions of discipline and interdisciplinarity in the context of the epistemological discussion of the discipline Science of Religion. Thus, on that perspective, we intend to affirm that we share the assumption that the subject Science of Religion is an autonomous discipline, dedicated to the empirical and systematic approach of concrete religious facts and that has a non-normative profile. Besides, we affirm that interdisciplinarity, as a method, greatly reflects the elements of this subject, as it provides guidance in the collection of empirical data and assists in the theorizing process. Additionally, our objective is to show that it is not because of the diversity or extent of the disciplinary spectrum, a feature of the Science of Religion, that interdisciplinarity is characterized, but oppositely, it is the theoretical-methodological exchange between what is typical of these subjects with what is typical of the subject Science of Religion. We recognize that this is how the interdisciplinary profile is constituted, in a theoretical-methodological sense, in the disciplinary perspective. For that reason, our study is methodologically established as a theoretical research based on analyticalcomparative investigation on the theoretical-methodological profile of the pedagogical proposals of the Postgraduate Programs in Science(s) of Religion(s) in Brazil (2017 -2020) in order to identify the extent to which these notions are being understood by the Programs.
