EXPERIÊNCIAS PESSOAIS, PROFISSIONAIS E A CONSTRUÇÃO DA IDENTIDADE RACIAL DE PSICÓLOGAS NEGRAS

O sequestro da população negra do continente africano e sua inserção forçada em países racistas acarretaram em danos não apenas para seus corpos, mas também para o desenvolvimento da subjetividade dessa população. Ao serem apartados de suas histórias, memória e identidade coletiva, muitos desenvolveram identidade negativa sobre ser negra/o, recorrendo assim, a diversas tentativas de branqueamento. Essas violências impactaram as experiências de vida de toda a população negra, estes foram submetidos à margem da sociedade. Com isso, houve movimentos de luta e resistência negra os quais no Brasil foram expressados de diversas formas. Também foram construídos caminhos em prol do retorno cultural africano como a afrocentricidade, afroperspectiva e o Mulherismo africana. Considerando esse contexto social da população negra, esta pesquisa objetivou analisar as experiências de psicólogas negras de Belo Horizonte, refletindo sobre o desenvolvimento de suas identidades raciais e as influências de suas experiências de vida sobre as escolhas e suas atuações profissionais. Uma das hipóteses levantadas é que essas mulheres em suas práticas profissionais buscaram construir estratégias de eliminação das violências racistas. No entanto, também foi considerada a possibilidade de elas serem reprodutoras dessas violências em decorrência da socialização em sociedades racistas. Para os procedimentos metodológicos, em primeiro momento foi feita uma pesquisa documental com vistas a ter a dimensão de quem são os/as psicólogos/as de Belo Horizonte e em relação ao acesso das pessoas negras às universidades. Assim, foram analisados documentos disponibilizados no site do Conselho Federal de Psicologia – CFP e do Conselho Regional de Psicologia de Minas Gerais – CRP-MG. Para discutir os processos de acesso da população negra às universidades brasileiras foram analisadas as planilhas de síntese de indicadores sociais disponibilizadas pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística – IBGE e os Programas de bolsa e financiamento estudantil para o acesso da população negra e de baixa renda as universidades brasileiras. Para analisar as experiências das psicólogas foram realizadas entrevistas. A partir dos dados e análises foi possível perceber o quanto as experiências das psicólogas negras são complexas e atravessadas pelo racismo, também foi possível perceber diferentes movimentos internos e externos em busca da descolonização do corpo e mente, entre as atuações das psicólogas negras não foram identificado um caminho único de luta, mas um desejo comum de emancipar individual e coletivamente.

PERSONAL, PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF RACIAL IDENTITY OF BLACK PSYCHOLOGISTS

The kidnapping of the black population of the African continent and their forced insertion in racist countries resulted in damage not only to their bodies, but also to the development of the subjectivity of this population. By being separated from their histories, memory and collective identity, many developed a negative identity about being black, thus resorting to several whitening attempts. This violence impacted the life experiences of the entire black population, they were submitted to the margins of society. With that, there were movements of struggle and black resistance which in Brazil were expressed in different ways. Pathways were also built in favor of African cultural return, such as afrocentricity, afroperspective and African Women'sism. Considering this social context of the black population, this research aimed to analyze the experiences of black psychologists, reflecting on the development of their racial identities and the influences of their life experiences on professional choices and performances. One of the hypotheses is that these women, in their professional practices, sought to build strategies to eliminate racist violence. However, it was also considered the possibility that, when they were socialized in a racist society, they could become reproductions of this violence. For the methodological procedures, at first, a documental research was carried out in order to have the dimension of who the psychologists in Belo Horizonte are and in relation to the access of black people to universities. Thus, documents available on the website of the Federal Council of Psychology – CFP and the Regional Council of Psychology of Minas Gerais – CRP-MG were analyzed. by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics – IBGE and the Scholarship and Student Financing Programs for the access of the black and low-income population to Brazilian universities. To analyze the psychologists' experiences, interviews were carried out. From the data and analysis it was possible to see how the experiences of black psychologists are complex and crossed by racism, it was also possible to perceive different internal and external movements in search of decolonization of the body and mind, among the actions of black psychologists were not identified a unique path of struggle, but a common desire to emancipate individually and collectively.
