ANÁLISE DE RUÍDO EM CENTROS URBANOS: UM ESTUDO DE CASO DA CIDADE DE BETIM – MG.

O presente trabalho discute os resultados obtidos através do estudo do ruído urbano da área central do município de Betim em Minas Gerais. O objetivo é testar a hipótese de que os níveis de ruídos venham ultrapassar os valores permitidos na legislação atual do município, afetando a saúde e a qualidade de vida da comunidade que estão diariamente expostas a esses altos níveis de ruído. Espera-se contribuir para o planejamento urbano do município, já que a população sonora é uma das principais fontes de denúncias e reclamações do município. Dos dados coletados, 91% das aferições realizadas superaram os valores de referencias da NBR 10.151 e 95% dos dados estão acima do limite estabelecido pela Lei Municipal. Somente um ponto de amostragem apresentou valores em conformidade com ambas normativas. O incremento no quadro de poluição sonora na região central de Betim está associado ao inerente aumento no fluxo de veículos e pessoas durante o período amostrado.

NOISE ANALYSIS IN URBAN CENTERS: A CASE STUDY OF THE CITY OF BETIM - MG.

This paper discusses the results obtained through the study of urban noise in the central area of the municipality of Betim in Minas Gerais. The objective is to test the hypothesis that the noise levels will exceed the values allowed in the current legislation of the municipality, affecting the health and quality of life of the community that are daily exposed to these high noise levels. It is expected to contribute to the urban planning of the municipality, since the sound population is one of the main sources of denunciations and complaints in the municipality. Of the data collected, 91% of the measurements carried out exceeded the reference values of NBR 10,151 and 95% of the data are above the limit established by the Municipal Law. Only one sampling point presented values in accordance with both standards. The increase in noise pollution in the central region of Betim is associated with the inherent increase in the flow of vehicles and people during the sampled period.
